These are the dipping glazes that are available at the Pottery Mill. Each test tile has been dipped twice. The glazes listed on the left side of the grid are the ones dipped first. The glazes across the top of the grid are for the second dipping. The tiles diagonally from top, left to bottom, right are dipped twice in the same color.
When I took my first pottery class, I used Amaco paint on glazes for a couple of my pieces. I wanted to explore these a little more so I went overboard about bought 9 of them! Here’s a list of them and then below are some test tiles using various layers of these glazes.
Toasted Sage
On highly textured pieces this is a rose color that breaks with a greenish-beige color
